this is the world record perch, weighing in at 27 LBs and measuring 42 inches. some kid was casting a muskie plug when he bit:

This is actually a peacock bass, still a MONSTER fish :D

I had one on the other day ice fishing at sayers but my ice hole was to small :D to get it thru so I guess it's not a record for me.

News flash....that fish is NOT 50 lbs. or 58 inches.....Peacock bass are fairly big, but not that big....and that fish is sure as hell not as big you stated... ::)

A 20 pound peacock is a huge one, no way they get to 50 pounds. That fish is like 18 pounds, and 28 inches

AAHHHHHH ,YOU CALL THAT BIG? Where I come from we use them for bait, You only fish with 2 buddies and you take turns fighting the fish you catch[hand the pole to the next guy after4-6 hours]...... ;D :rotflol: :wacko: :whistling:
