Hey guys can you catch your own crawlers in the Fort Qu'Appelle area or are we to far north or do they just not live here?

I think all we get here are garden worms.....the big nightcrawlers come from back east, or from Pokey's :).  I've used ordinary earthworms for pickerel and perch fishing before with good success though (like from 1959 on).  They might even be the same creature, just lack the climate to get big as a pencil.   Using worms is cheating anyway isn't it?

Once you get your crawlers put them in that Nitro bedding. It turns them green and they in turn totally catch more fish than the normal crawler. Have fun.
