Nice fish!

Is that a black lab because the snout and head look like it could be mixed?

No worries my present one is a pure breed Akita although I picked her up at a shelter several years ago.

Dogs bred for a purpose (We once had an English Pointer we got as a pup from Woburn, Mass) are a different story.

I just think mutts just tend to be healthier and sometimes smarter although there are exceptions.  My Akita has skin allergies really bad. But then the breed was down to 26 animals at one time.
