I'm heading out for some bourbon and BBQ tonight with a few freinds.
Then over to one of thier homes for more adult beverages and the Sabres game

Even having been born and raised in Buffalo, I can’t have enough adult beverages watching the sabres the past few years

Yea, they neen bad.
Real bad.
But they are playing with some heart and spirit the past few weeks after they dumped Kruger.
For whatever reason, they are playing far better for this interim coach.
They are way more entertaining to watch.
2 nights ago they played Boston and lost 2-0.
But they played thier hearts out and, if you are honest about things, the score could easily have been reverse at the end.
Tuka Rask was simply amazing for Boston!!!!
We need a goalie.
And we need them to keep playing like they have the past few weeks.
And we need them to grow and get experience.
They are one of the youngest teams in the NHL.
I love my Sabres, but you are right - they have been tough to watch over the past decade.

Haven’t watched a hockey game since the 70’s when my Bride and I were dating. She loved going to the Amerks  games. And...man she was embarrassing. Sure glad she settled down some 50 years later....sort of anyway.

Pasta with Italian sausage and home made sauce and a side salad tonight.

With a snow cone for dessert!

Looks good, can never have pork chops without apple sauce

Tonight it’s a strip steak for me and a burger for my Bride. Probably do some nailed taters and fresh spinach from the trough planter for a side.

And...I think I’ll get some applesauce out of the freezer.

Love chicken piccata. Hard to get my Bride to eat chicken though. She tolerates it but that’s about it.

Grain bowls at Core Life tonight.
I had the Korean BBQ Pork bowl.
Not too spicy but it was good.
