Cheesy scalloped (home grown Yukon Gold) potatoes with Monterrey Jack and jalapeño Cheddar. Side of garden tomatoes and cukes.

Boy…some good leftovers for tomorrow.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Looks great Dom. My wife is half Polish so I've had a few perogies over the years.

I didn't plant beans this year and I'm regretting it.

Looks delicious guys. Simple dinner for us. Tuna sandwich and chips. Neither of us were particularly hungry.

I thought I was the only person that went to the fair to eat and wandered around undecided all day and came home hungry…

Fair food is expensive.
However, I always treat myself to one thing.
This year I got some chili cheese tater tots.
Cost $9 but they were good.

I went to fair last friday...
Decided on a hot Italian sausage sandwich.....
As I sat down to eat I had high expectations for the large sandwich i paid $9 for!!!!
I picked sandwich up, the bottom of roll split in 2.. half the sausage ended up rolling on my shirt, off the table and onto the ground...
The roll was old and the the ends had hardened up like 3 day old bread that's been left out on countertop... I was able to salvage half the sandwich and after I was done eating I was frustrated to say the least but happy I didnt feel the need to eat the whole sandwich because it wasnt worth $3 let alone $9...
Needless to say I left the fair and did not get to enjoy a GOOD sausage sandwich
Maybe next year!!!!
