I'm in the market for a new spey reel to put on an 8 wt switch rod, can't wait to get out on the water later this year for the salmon and steelhead runs.
Any advice from the guys out there on makes/models that have served you well? I'm not looking to break the bank and ideally want to spend less than $200, but also want to get quality for the price.
Better yet, I would be happy to find something second-hand as long as it's a quality reel and has some life left in it. Don't hesitate to PM me if I could take something off your hands for a reasonable fee
