Shad have been in shallow for 3 weeks.

So thick you can snatch them!

Well I took a ride over to North Shore at Cleveland for my first fall night shoreline trip last night. Very calm at sunset, not much bait where I was and no fish. Hit one other spot west of Cleveland and no fish for me there either.  Hope some of you guy's had better luck than I did.
I'm fishing my way through life .

I went out with a buddy Tues evening in the boat on the North shore. We fished shallow casting sticks and ended after dark with nothing. We tried a couple different shoals  with rocks and weeds. Next time I guess... 8)

The shore bite has been slow. I have tried twice and got 1 keeper each time.

We need some rain and wind...
