Nice job Fred and Coach. Was nice out last night. I ran down and fished for an hour and managed 2 and lost 1. They have been slamming it. No light biters...they are hungry

That's for sure. Feels like they are going to rip the pole out of your hand sometimes. I love it!

Good job guys.

I was getting some eyes with blue tinted fins in a different lake through the ice, found this info about the blue coloration and a newly discovered protein that is responsible here: http://wayneschaefer.blogspot.com/

Thanks, that's the exact shade of blue mine was, except more on the sides.

Looks very similar to what I saw as well.

I kept another 3 fish last nite and two of them had blue tails . Managed to get a couple pics where it showed up somewhat.

It was definitely diehard weather tonight :o Release and Reuben had a blast. Good fishing with ya Deadeyez.  We fished the 2 man tournament and landed 13 eyes.
Took 6 big fish to weigh-ins and our 3 best fish weighed 10.52 lbs. which was enough to put us in 1st place and Release caught a dandy for lunker 4.5 lbs  :whistling:  ;D
Rob didn't take our picture so we had to stop at a spot on the way to home get our own pictures. :P Landed  4 more slobs that went back in the water unharmed. Total for the night 17 eyes landed.  ;D

We got lucky tonight , it was miserable out  , between the rain and rough water , made conditions pretty tough for casting ,
