does any one use in line planers? i have a set of the off-shore tackle boards. I have a hard time with them. not sure if it is me or the boards. would it be worth the extra to set up a mast with big boards?

Yes Yes. I ran boards for 5 years WOW at ice out till late june you kill them you need a mast to do it wright.And the right clips for the line and how you snape them on.it took me 2 years to get it right.

yup, something I need to learn. I ahvent botherd to spend the hundereds yet as I don't fully understand how to use them
