Trolling Sebago!! Caught over 30 Lake Trout. UPDATE with Part 3.

Had the pleasure of fishing with Glen Gisel from Sebago Sport Fishing Guide Service yesterday. He invited us down to fish Sebago, and we hammered them, the entire time we were there!!! Our first rod wasn't in the water for 60 seconds before the first laker hit. Several doubles, one triple throughout the day. We got roughly 30 total, lost 15 or so. Biggest was in the 6lb range. The morning conditions were rough. 20 mph winds, with steady rain till 10ish. Then the weather cleared, and it turned into a beautiful day. Ry caught close to half the fish, and made it through the wind and rain without complaining once. This was hands down my best day trolling for trout. If your looking at getting into some lakers, and salmon (that eluded us all day), Glen is the guy to call. He will get you into the fish!!

Nice dude! I was also thinking you went out in your yak at first and was thinking you were a brave man. I always want to fish sebago, but I don't think the Grum would play well in the big water.

You should try and make it at some point. As close to Great Lakes fishing as it gets here in Maine. And I’ll be hitting it in my kayak at some point!!

will be planting a few dozen this weekend and next in the garden. thought last year it would be a problem with the dogs and raccoons digging them up but had no problems at all. there was supposed to be collection boxes to feed injured raptors but with the covid im betting that never really materialized, maybe glen knows more on that
