felt soled boots

I need to know what to use to adhere felt soles to my wading boots

Barge cement. It's a common form of contact cement used in the shoemakers industry. Rough up the sole of the boot first to give it more contact surface.

I have used barge cement for over 30 years when you put the two together make sure you are lined up only one shot they are not coming apart  just my .02

Open some windows when you're using the stuff...it's potent. Don't rush to stick the 2 parts together. The glue on either surface should not stick to your finger at all when touched. You want the carrier solvents to evaporate before joining the 2 surfaces.
