Took the wife out
« on: Aug 19, 2018, 07:41 AM »
The wife asked to go out fishing Saturday evening so obviously I said of course.  We went to a pond we had gone to a few weeks ago and did quite well in the evening so we thought we would try it again. The bite was slower this time but we caught some fish and had some to bring home. Had a great time and the humidity had backed off making for a nice comfortable evening.

Nice catch. And even better, quality time spent with the misses.

Looks like a great time out on the water.  A family that fishes together...

I always enjoyed the times out with my significant other.  Except for the time I had a less than stellar outing.  There were a number of pictures of her with good sized bass; none of me.  Though normally catch and release anglers, we kept a few white perch for my grandmother, who used to love eating them on occasion and we were going to visit after fishing.  Sherri decided we should take a picture of me with the stringer.   She had a great time showing off the pictures of her with the beautiful bass and me with a stringer of small white perch.  Salt in the wound at the time!
