hopefully mid December.  I have a few other places I am going to try this ice season and they should freeze up fairly early.  I will still be out in the boat in november.  But as much as I miss the hard water, This year was my first season owning a boat. 

One thing I like about hard water is meting people out there.  In a boat you drive by and wave where hard water you can walk up and bs.  The electronics watching jigs is always fun as well.
