Baxter State Park Trip
« on: Oct 04, 2022, 10:07 PM »
Just got back from an awesome trip with my mom up in Baxter State Park. Successfully completed our Northeast 115 4,000 foot peaks!
Also did some brook trout fishing, but it was quite slow (all in all I ended up with 5 small ones.)
Super remote area, all dirt roads, no electricity or development, and the air is as fresh as it gets. Highly suggested for anyone wanting a completely immersive wilderness experience...

Looks like a nice trip. Glad you enjoyed your time up here in Maine. I have climbed Kathadhin 3 times and the knife edge twice . Awesome!

Congrats on your accomplishment. I've done some fishing in the Moosehead Lake area but never made it into Baxter. It's all beautiful country.

Looks like you had great weather except for North Brother, that last clip looked gnarly.

Thanks for sharing.
