I hiked back into the Southern Adirondacks Mountains to try a new stream Sunday and caught these four whoppers!

Obviously I released them. Unfortunately they were the only ones I caught.

They are very pretty Adkroy. Some streams only produce little ones and they are the tastiest ones anyways :)

Some awesome native brookies, WTG. just great to be out early spring with the warm temps.  :thumbup_smilie: Sweet pictures.  :clapping:

Nice brookies.  At least you caught something and I am sure it was good not have people stepping all over you on opening day

They're not fish but I think they are way more tasty. These ladies were feeding outside my door this morning. I snapped pictures of them just before I left for work.

After a week off, I finally got my pictures loaded onto photo bucket. Here are some easter Sunday fishing pictures.  This was on my hometown lake of Mariaville. My brother was the only one to catch anything. He got a nice pickerel on worm and bobber.

I also hit up many streams in the southern Adirondacks. I took my telesoping pole, some small hooks and a can of worms and caught these nice brookies. I did not take a picture of all my fish. just a few. All fish were caught and released.

Also last week I discovered fishing for suckers. I did not know they grew this big but they sure do put up a good fight on light tackle.

I even caught one bare handed.

The worst was a female I caught dropped eggs all over my backpack. Their egss are like super glue and it was a pain in the but to get them off.

Nice specks BTW
