Title: santee cooper trip

im planning a trip to lake marion this spring probably the last week of march
ive only fish there once with sparse results any info or tips wolud be appreciated
those lakes are huge and with the droght i would think some local knowledge could really help me find the bass

61 views and not even a water temp?
im not lookin for coordinates just wonder what stage of spawn their in?
in what part of the lake?

Not a lot of people from down South on this site.    You're best bet would be to look up some local marina's, charters, or some local shore access sites and call and ask them.     I tracked down some info for one of the guys that I work with that wanted to go down there and thats how I went about it.   There are plenty of places on the web about it.

HI i just got back from there i didnt fish the big lake marion or murry but fished what they call the church branch across from marion. caught two 8lb bass and about two hundred crappies in for days cant wait for next year
