mouth of the Salmon R

How is the fishing out front.  any fish starting to stage.  I am moving back from Oregon and I am ready to catch some fish on the home water's.  i know I am leaving salmon heaven, but i am still pumped.

I seen a report that there was a few in the estuary the other day.It wont be long now,but the wait is killing me. ;D

I tied enough salmon and  steelhead flies to last me for the next 2 seasons over the past couple of weeks, at least thats what I think every year and low and behold I'll end up tying another 2 seasons worth at the end of october. Go figure.
I'll start heading up after work for a couple hours around the 2nd week in September sometimes sooner if I hear there are decent pods shooting up the river.
