Really good fishing this morning. Boated atleast 15 walleye this morning trolling bottom bouncers and worm harnesses.  Best depth was 20-25 feet.  Got a 2 man limit of keepers.  Caught a bunch of 13-14 inches.   Great morning of fishing with my son.

Fished with wife sat am. 1st drift 15" that swallowed my jig. Had to keep it because it would have died. Only one for several more passes. In the 20' range. Some hits and stolen bait. Big bite and it let go in other spots. Vacation this weekend and back at it. Good Luck!!!!

Another tough day on the lake. About 10am wind switched to the East and the daughter said, "might as well go in". We didn't, got 1 15" walleye and a few light hits. Lots of bait near bottom but not many fish on them. Water temp 78*...h2l

There was a nice "walleye chop". Drifting about .6 to .8. Black bucktails. Wind was out of WNW. Good Luck tonight. I haven't night fished in a long time....h2l

Another "normal" day on the lake. 4 walleyes and 1 SMB. Water temp 70*, all the walleyes came from 28 to 32 fow. Very light hits, tight to the bottom, black jigs. Guy at the launch had a picture of a 41 inch pike. The dock at Northville is about 18" higher than my boat. Makes it hard for an old man to get out of the boat. Very windy and never took my sweat shirt off....h2l

Fished early Monday AM from 6 to noon.  It was a typical day for me, my wife and I got skunked again.  I cannot figure this lake out.

Fished from Benedict Bay to Frenchmans creek.  Fished anywhere from 12-5 FOW, around weedbeds and threw every lure I had and used live minnows.

I have never fished a lake with such little success, it is so frustrating.

The only bright spot was last week I had a 40" pike follow my lure up to the boat.... at least I got to SEE the d**n thing....

Jaconwall, it has been a tough year for many. Some are very good walleye fishermen/women. Now is a good time to target pike. So far it has been my worst year in many years for walleyes. My cousin called from the lake a while ago. He had caught 4, all 14 to 15 inches. Trolling silver spinners close to bottom, 23 fow South end of the lake....h2l
