Going from memory my lifetime hunting and fishing was 800.00 in the year 2000.  My dad bought it for my high school graduation gift.

My lifetime fishing one was $275 ish in the late 1990's. I think just a year or two before they dropped the program. I could be remembering wrong. That laminated card is the most prized item in my wallet.

Best Valentine I ever got was when my wife gave me a lifetime comprehensive hunting and fishing license in the early 80s.  It cost $385.  Low number. All I ever need to get each year is a federal duck stamp and I'm good to go.  I returned the favor later in the year by getting her a comprehensive fishing license for her July birthday.  It cost $135.

I got the lifetime hunting license for $525 or $550. Heard they were going up to $750 so I grabbed one. I passed on the fishing side because our state doesn't do much to enhance our fishing and when you're 65 you get one good for life. Hunting lifetime has paid for its self many times over. Hex

Got mine in 1984. Price sounds right. Probably the best investment I have ever made.  Have friends whose numbers are in the 100s. Mine is below 1500.

Got mine the year after I left the service, cost 482 dollars for Hunting and Fishing in 1988 if my memory serves me right.
Money well spent,to bad they did away with all of it.

I think they had to. They realized they were in trouble income wise if they kept it up!  :rotflol:
