Raising trout

I'm really liking this program Trout unlimited & the DNR have set up in various schools. What a great way to get the young ones connected to fishing. I'm sure there will be  some that would like to just see them grow in peace but I'm positive there are those that cannot wait to get one on the end of a rod  8)

I work in a school in Vermont and we just raised some salmon from eggs this year, such a cool project to be a part of and the kids loved it!  Next year we are hoping to raise brook trout in one tank and salmon in another.  Such a great way to get the kids involved with fishing and the outdoors, hope this program can make its way in to more schools.
