Yup....you're getting the hang of the Weber.

Slow cooking some ribs today. A nice tossed salad sounds like a good side.

My slow cook setup.

Snake burn with the Amazin Smoke Tube for a little extra flavor. It's cooking along at about 230-240*

2 1/2 a 3 hrs I'd say. I'll put the sauce to it in the last hour.

Yum!
Just pulled the ribs off the grill.

Very good smell in the house right now. They're resting while we watch last year's Yankee game.

Slow and low Weber chicken, marinated in Chiavetta’s sauce for 2 days. Noodle salad on the side

Pile briquettes 4-5 deep around the outer edge of the fire grate . Start 6-8 coals and begin the burn from one end. It burns at a consistent temp for a very long time. I did 3 1/2 hrs at 250 and the ribs were really good. Once burned about half the coals. I shut it down and will be able to use the remaining coals another day.

Easy technique for low and slow...controlled.

Perch dinner tonight. My Bride wasn't enthused so she's on her own.

Perch, home made tartar sauce and a hearts of lettuce salad with vinegar and oil.

I'm happy!

Our lilacs did well too Fred. There's a long hedgerow across the road from our house that belongs to a dentists office.  Most of our bird population lives in that hedge.

My lilacs, the flowers are small and much less than usual. Grapes are just budding out. Blueberries look weak, we'll see?

Big T-Bone steak tonight!

Boneless pork chops with dry rub on the glass grill with corn on the cob.

We had a nice lilac blossom too, first one with a bush we planted 8-10 years ago. Wife cut them off and brought them in the house Saturday. Don’t have a long shelf life visually but the aroma is still very nice
