Merrimack River, Concord NH

Hey all, Ive been searching high and low for carp in the concord area on the Merrimack by kayak. anybody have any experience catching these guys in this area?

I have never heard of a carp population in the merrimack in Concord, I used to fish them with great success under the queen city bridge in Manchester..
