Caught a bunch this past weekend in one of the local fingerlakes. Quite surprised to see that most of the females had not spawned yet. Probably the 44-46 deg water temp and this week will not add to that.

He caught more the next day I got my exercise anyways not easy but I did I cant wait to get out there and walk normal again back surgery comming soon

What really impresses me is the little guy is proficient with a flyrod. I know adults that can't get the hang of it. Once you get the hang of a flyrod and panfish you can have a blast as we all know, and of course it's very effective.

I took the little guy out again friday he got a nice pile in a hour and a half .here's the funny part..his mom cut his hair he saved a bunch got creative and tied a few tiny jigs with it...his results were pretty good ..and he says thank you.he is very good with fly rod..8 foot 3wt.he knows how to work the fly or micro jig just rite for crappies and gills
