I fished the South Hoosic in Cheshire and Adams from 1 to 4 PM today.
T'was a beautiful day - - sunny, blue skies, about 75 degrees.
I saw plenty of bicyclists (since the river parallels the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail) but only three other fishermen (two by Cheshire Harbor and one down by Elm Rock).
I ended up catching a 10" brown just below the Cheshire Harbor dam and a 13" rainbow a little above Elm Rock.
