Black raspberry is my favorite ice cream!! One local place has it soft and you can also get it vanilla twist....

My wife made me 2 strawberry rhubarb pies today I forgot I planted rubarb years ago in a side field and went out yesterday and there a lot of it ! Gonna freeze a bunch for winter and I had a brain storm gonna make a strawberry/rubarb/ jalapeno pie this weekend! Post results ,these pies she made are great, my favorite kind of pie!

No pics but diced up a pound of walleye and made fish patties and brussel sprouts was very good just next time use a egg or something to make them bind together better

My favorite pie is plain rhubarb pie, nothing mixed in.  It is my birthday “cake”.  My grandmothers recipe from way back.

Going to be a good feast today...although the weather is pretty much crap. We will survive..
25 pound brisket, big bag of little necks, beans Texas twinkies and turkey hunting!
