Scroll down the list and click on the area of the river you want info on. I'm not really sure how to read it but I am assuming the charts show daily water flow. After clicking on a river area on the next page shows a chart but it doesn't show gage height so under"Output format" check table then click go. It will show a spreadsheet with date/time- discharge rate-gage height

https://waterdata.usgs.gov/in/nwis/current/?type=flow

----------------------
Example: I clicked WABASH RIVER AT LOGANSPORT, IN from the list and it shows a 7 day chart for discharge rate, cubic feet per second

-----------------------
I filled in the boxes under "  PROVISIONAL DATA SUBJECT TO REVISION " and got input showing gage height, feet. I assume its the Wabash at Logansport's height.

The bottom link showing gage height of Wabash at Logan I couldn't get to work when clicked on but if you copy/paste it works.

Not sure what you are talking about. Do you mean when rivers rise suckers will bite better?

Went today for about 3 hrs. First place I fished mouth of creek no bites for 1-1/2hrs, 2nd place I went to a spot I caught chubs on the Eel but no creek and not one bite. The Wabash was 2-3 times as muddy as the Eel, the creek into the Wabash was pretty clear. Forgot to take grill thermometer along to test temp of the water but I imagine its still under 50, was 43 last weekend.
