I picked up a bunch of fresh water clams this morning. Thought I would try them for bullheads this week since it's going to cool down. I'll try any thing once.

Pretty warm waters for bullhead :sick:

My favorite fly testing spot is in the midst of the annual cottonwood plague. Took the fly fishing gear out of the trunk and got a catfish rod ready. Love catching catfish……and…….releasing them. Gotta remember to bring the net ;)
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Where I was last weekend water temp was 65 any warmer and bullhead will not be as good

I guess I'm throwing in the towel for now. Water is warm, weeds are too thick, bugs are horrible at night with the lights. I usually put in a couple nights in October. I'll save the clams till then in the freezer .
