Sharps,

Just make sure they are legal in your state. I know in New Hampshire anything in the current family is a no go. Totally banned in my state.

They are legal. The only ones illegal are Black Currant unless you have a permit. This is due to a rust disease they transmit to White Pine, which there are ZERO of in my city.

Nice. Just figured I’d mention it since I New you were in New England. I was all excited to grow these when I got back from washington state to NH. I was bummed when they let me know they couldn’t ship to NH.

No problem at all, I appreciate your due diligence.

As long as approved they are legal in RI with a permit, which cost me $50.

Hurt my back yesterday morning and didn't like my 4 hours on the concrete floor at Lowes one bit. Got up this morning and went out for my walk and didn't get far at all. I was walking kind of sideways.

So, for the first time in a year and a half,I called in. I did manage to get some stuff planted though. Got my Clematis in the ground. Four at the flower towers and one at a trellis. Also got nine blue hostas in on the West side of the house and a few more sprouted seeds in the trough planter. Put in a Lilly Of The Valley in our shade garden. Should g well with the Bleeding Heart in that corner.

Then I decided I'd mow my place and the one I take care of next door.

I'm definitely going to work tomorrow. I need the rest.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

It's feeling a little better. My biggest problem is I just can't sit still. I need to be doing something. An inversion table sounds pretty good.

The gradens are gonna get a good watering the next 2 days. The weather guessers are calling for upwards of 1 1/2" of rain. Should perk up the fishing anyway.

The cold frame/trough planter is in full swing.

I'm very happy with this particular build.

Quite a project. Very nice.  ;D
One more with the one we're after and we'll have two.
