Had a pretty good day today, actually the best I've had in a while.  The fish were thick in the channels, and despite the clear water, and lack of wind they weren't too skidish.  Caught the crappies on minnows and the gills on red wigglers.

Who has time to vote when the fishing is this good?  It was only the primaries!

no voting for me either, leave for work just as the polls open and usually dont get home till after they close.

Caught crappie all weekend and had a blast.  These fish came from Salamonie, not a lot of size but good eaters. 

Also spotted a few gills on beds Saturday North of Columbia City.  They weren't there today though, they're getting close.
