salmon fishing with flys

I want to fly fish for salmon but what fly shoud I use and how could I fish it on a lake?

Streamers are my personal favorite, trolling  them out of a canoe or casting and stripping them back around decent size tribs this time of year. I have had luck twitching nymphs or buggers on sinking line. I take it you are speaking of LL atlantics.

Trolling has to be one of the best ways in my opinoion as well

Trolling is probably the most effective, but casting to them in my opinion is more fun .
