The owner of the resort is having his insurance company cover his place and the damage.

Good to hear fridges TVs etc is a costly bill to have to pay for. But sorry to hear it happened..

My old fat a$$ body makes it tough to keep getting up and into the boat, only to have to climb back out to get another tool or work on something from the outside.
Had to pretty much remove the top of the rod locker on the port side of the boat.

This made me laugh! I know exactly what you are talking about. On Sunday I wish I counted the amount of times I went up and down the ladder. Only to get up there and realize I forgot something else! :cursing:

You mentioned hole saws. I hate those things. I've dulled quite a few up to 4 inches and stripped out the gears on a Makita drill I had with those. And don't even get me started on how some come with arbors and some don't etc.

Replaced my old 29's up front with 31's.
One of the old ones was shorted.
It was time as they were 6+ years old.
$323.97 later.
Ouch!

Also took my cover in to be re-stitched today.
The canvas is still pretty good but the stitching was rotting and some of the seams were coming apart.
So the boat is home in the garage.

Jeff wants to hit the SBH later this week some night.
Might be fun.
