i just use plano storage boxes and put them in a regular pack back slide pole in and zip up

I bought a backpack just for my fishing stuff. You can fit alot of gear alongside your tackle. Its worked good for me so far.

I have the Browning backpack tackle bag from BPS. It's okay. The zippers are kind of rough. I comes with it's quirks and shortcomings. I do like the fact that it has a rainfly cover. Useful. However I think my next one would have to be a fully waterproof backpack for fly fishing.

i bought the gander fly fishing backpack two years ago. i like it, you can store the essential small gear upfront for easy access. can wear it and still cast at the same time. their only 40 bucks

Something against vests? just asking.

Now that you mentioned it...I have two vests, one for trout and one for catfish.
Just need to grab the right vest for the right trip. ;D
