a 5'6" berkley lightning rod....love it, am I the only one with a lightning rod? It is light and has some backbone when needed, I have a shimano 100s reel with 8 lb power pro on it.

I also have a one piece lightning rod- I love it for its light action and is the only rod that has made it through a few seasons with out any damage.  I use a couple different reels, depending on what I am doing, but generally go with 4lb for stream trout!

Well havnt gotten to use it too too much yet but I got a 7ft HT super-ultralight with 4lb test, this spring and have landed a few trout off of it and well it is a blast, it looks long and odd Im sure to the people that watched me and my dad fish, but we were easily out catching them at leaste 5 to 1, there were days when we each would limit out and they would have caught maybe 1 fish.    I have handled decent sized browns off of it too.

Hard to beat the durability of the ugly stick ultralights...i'm sure their are better rods out there...but those can take a beating.  I have a 5'', 5.5'' and the 6''.

I have a 5' ugly stick lite that works awesome
Also have a 6' split bamboo 4wt, that my dad gave me, that is the best in the tight streams of NH
If the rule is 5 fish or 5 pounds, what if the 5th fish weighs 5 pounds?
