Sounds like that mason dixon line, that splits two counties.

Is it public waters that any of us could fish? If not there's no need to share. If it is and you don't want to give up more details there's no need to share.

Why cant a guy make a post about a good time out fishing??? Why does he have to give locations?... in fact, he doesnt have to give locations. Who cares if someone does/doesnt give location, maybe its a small body of water that cant withstand alot of pressure.

So really, there was no need to share YOUR comment.

I wasn't asking for locations. Only asked if its a public. If its private like taxid ponds share that info with us. Nothing wrong with being proud of private stock. Take a few pictures. I'm happy he has a hot spot but if it's like a few private bodies of water like most of us have with nice fish why mention it or if he is so proud of his location go a step further and show a few pictures. If it is public why not say this is a public lake. There's lots of potential hot spots that are public.  Might get a few people out looking for good water instead of looking for a name. I wish him the best with his hot spot and meant no disrespect.

Maybe it is because any time you post that you have caught any fish Al keeps sending pm 's trying to find out where you caught your fish.

And it continues. Ty for all your replies and you telling me where you caught all your hard earned hot spots, ( if I forgot to thank anyone who told me anything of any value). Dont mean to offend anyone, so all I can say is the lake isn't private.

Public water with access? What kind of access? DNR maintained ramp or private ramp. My favorite public hot spots have county owned easement and private pay to put on ramp. Dirt and gravel. One in Wabash county and one in Koskiosko county. Both under 60 acres. Trolling motor only. For me the smaller lakes are easier to work to find out if they could be a hot spot. I have a lead on a small lake over by Bruce lake that sounds promising. I'll let you all know if it becomes a hot spot.

Takes more than luck even if you know the lake. I've mentioned the names of the lakes I consider my hot spots many time on this forum and have had a few folks show up saying they heard about the lake being great. In almost every case they leave saying this lake sucks. It sucked  because of not knowing how to fish the lake and that's what they will likely never learn. They aren't willing or able to put in the time or attention to details. If a person has the ability competition from those that don't won't effect their fishing success at all.

If it's what I have in mind the fishing can be good if you can find a spot to fish 😉
