Beautiful

My beautiful girlfriend with a beautiful  fish. Her first ever striper.
Putting people on fish of a lifetime never gets old. The screaming drag the screaming angler the adrenaline high you share of pure joy is why I do it.

 Story
I hear the drag scream then she screams. The rod is double over with the drag ripping she can’t pull hard enough to get rod out of holder. She says the reel won’t reel it’s broke . I’m laughing tell her pedal pedal keep line tight. She pulls rod out and says fish is gone only to find out that it swam at her. Game on again drag ripping all the line back out. She was amazing under the pressure stayed cool on a steamy night.46 37#

She couldn’t lift it out of water it was so long

Spoiled if that is her first.  Great fish and memory.  I had a dogfish take an eel I was trolling and I struggled to get the rod out of the holder.  Thought I had a massive striper but it was still a fun fight.

Nice catch!  What a thrilling first catch.  Good for her!
