Hey...any of you use an air fryer? Been looking at one at Lowes that’s on sale. I’m wondering if it’s worth the trouble.

Rg
We like our air fryer also. wings, fries as stated . We've also done breaded fish and pork chop, delicious . I've heard of people doing steaks in it. Haven't tried that yet.

That’s two “yay” and one “nay”. We’re going to test it out today on some wings and fries.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

I have 2, one for the lake and one for home.
Have done wings and fries and reheated a few things here and there.

How do you do steak?
Or something like that.
Doesn't it make a darn mess.

Did our first wings and fries today. Wings were pretty darned good .....fries went in for a bit more time. I probably loaded to many in the basket. In the end they were good.

My take on the wings....Allrecipes called for 25 min at 360 and 10-15 min at 400. No oil or sauces on the wings to start. They were crispy, very tender and cooked through. The skin was  a bit chewy. Probably from the finish.

Next time I’ll do 25 min at 350 then toss them in sauce and return them at 400.

Anyway, I cooked wings for three, we enjoyed them very much and the house doesn’t smell like a restaurant on chicken wing night.

I’ll keep it.

You can always count on that.

Even if it gets me in trouble.

Id eat that!

I know a lot of people love the AF,  I just found it gimmicky and it didnt come close to the real fried food. I have a toaster oven I use daily for Lisa and I. Im glad you like it Bob, and you sure got a hell of a deal 👌

Small brown sugar and mustard glazed ham, cheesy smashed potatoes and green beans tonight. Was a nice day to have the oven running for a few hours

I think it’s got some potential. I’m always open to new ideas.

No, it’s not like tossing some wings or fries in the deep fryer, and it’s certainly not my BBQ wings on the Weber. But, it’s an option for the cold dark days of winter. I’ll play with it a bit. Never can tell where an unmarked road may lead.

Wings from yesterday.

I’m off the next couple days so I think we’ll try them again.....my way this time.
Left over Braciola and ribbon pasta tonight. Too bad for us...... ;D ;D

Salad with chopped up smoked pork loin into it and even added some grapes.  Tasted good.

Left over Braciola.

We think the sauce gained some spice. Really good anyway.

Braciole
My MIL used to make it way back.
She rolled it and pinned it with toothpicks before she either fried or baked it.
Good stuff!!!
Pounded steak.
Nice and tender and tons of flavor.
Yours looks good Bob.
