So Mac do the boys target them (steelhead)and how often are they caught ? We have also caught steelhead through the ice but didn't target them,nice trout Mac , dimebrite you should take the time and give lakers a try
Not really.
We were fishing Wilson Harbor for whatever would bite.
We had a Buddy heater going full blast in the hut that day and a 2 liter bottle of Coke froze solid.
It was stupid cold.
Anything that swims in Lake O could also be in that Harbor.
But we mostly catch gills and perch.
But that steelhead was silly fun.
Tossed it out the hut door and it was frozen solid in maybe 20 minutes.
We were using emeralds for bait.
I would think tipups would be cool for them too.
Especially with the pike in there also.
