   That's what I thought also,  but isn't one a steelhead?    ::)

Nice fish (not naming species) Dom.  Salmon season always has some entertainment value.

We're the skein walkers out? That was crazy to see them last year walking up and down the wall all day. They definitely caught fish though

Sunday was a little slow considering how many fish were in there but ended up 1 for 3 with the last one coming on my very last cast.  36# female that didn't leave the net until I paddled back to shore in my kayak with the lure still in its mouth.  It's tough to put the kayak away but I think my next trip will be in the faster water and dealing with the yahoo's but it is fun schooling them until they get frustrated and start casting over my line while fighting a fish.

Oswego ...water is 876 cfs  which means very slow on the high wall you need a float and  skein ....(available at larrys  salmon shop) if you  go up to the dam don't forget  your  life jacket !  the safety stewards are there to provide  information.... larry has a great deal on new corkers too !

salmon river is still at summer levels  185 cfs  being released I think 235 at Pineville ....

hope you have fun and stay safe

We are heading out to the Salmon River Sunday-Tuesday. Hoping to get into some fish. Conditions and crowds sound brutal.
