hit Oswego today  ,if the water went threw the power house instead of the  d**n it would be better for everyone .....one small steelie,pretty slow

Yea trap theres a quite a few fish in oswego river skien bite is a little slow but the fly and beads up at the dam are workung well guys were drifting beads under a bobber and hooking up on the wall..i drifted a mop fly under a float and did pretty good..not on fire up there but fish are there..alot of kings at the dam

hooking salmon in the mouth under a float with beads and flies?   Just at the wall or up at the spillway too?

Ok so it makes a difference what you drift as long as you don't keep fouled fish ? 🤔

i only seen one  legal fish  and that was a  maybe  ...... seen a lot snagged with fast tracs  and  2 chromers  ............not sure about the spillway  nor the dam ,was  water coming over the dam ...going back down later ....

Freddie i heard that they hit those fast tracs so hard they often fly outta their mouths and get stuck in their sides!!!! ....

most kings are still caught with a 1/0 hook and a fast  upward motion of the rod .....

Trapp sometimes they are so aggressive on a strike they miss a plug and get stuck else where 🎣Just like a smallie

Just on the wall drifting bobbers.high wall ..on the wall its called the skien train...but yes guys do use floats up around the dam and do very well

oh hunts  I'm a old  salmon river rat  from way  back ...I assure  you  ,I can get those ole salmon to hit that bare hook and   have  everyone  right in the kisser    I thinl it's the  shine on the hook they think it's a baitfish or  something

hey few things to remember  get caught wading in Oswego without a approved  pfd your getting a ticket and yes they have a guy watching I think the firedept still has loaners..... new this year it cost you a buck a fish to use the fish cleaning station.... no access (legal)  to the east side unless you walk across the river
