Is there any one who targets the salmon with centerpins gear? Or tossing hardware? Never really fished the salmon river and I'm not into the sponge hatch. Just looking for any tips or tricks anyone might be able to give as I'm gonna go try it this next Tuesday.

You'd better check the regs for salmon river. Only single hooks allowed.

I make all my spinners with a 1/2 inch gap siwash single salmon hook... I've been checked many times on wny tribs never had an issue... I'll have to look again but I think u can use trebles on a floating lure as long as there not to big or stationary on the lure
