What size single hook do you put on plugs and kwik fish lures for fishing in the river.

Drove up the river yesterday just to see what was going on.  A lot more people than I expected.  The usual few seemed to be catching fish. Fish seemed to be throughout the river all the way to Altmar. River was at a nice fishable level. Went out to Selkirk Shores to check the lake.  A bit choppy with quite a few boats in close.  Looks like theres fish in the lake as well as the river.

1/0 or 2/0 will work depending on the brand. Had an Owner siwash stinger 1/0 straighten the other day. Get stronger ones than that.

Chowdaire  is right , 2/0 mustad measures just 1/2” if it bends out it will exceed 1/2” gap

Loads of fish from 18-25’ , far as the river small surges of fish coming through ,  some rain would do a world of good and the water temps could stand to drop a few degrees ,

Exelent, I need to collect some black and orange to re-stock. Snag sure seems busy, gotta drop off his pickles soon.
