I still question this boating accident  ,why did the one gentleman have to hold on the side of the boat to stay afloat if he had a floatation device on?  why did the other man go under and drown with a life jacket on?


The 71-year-old man was able to stay above water by holding onto the side of a boat but the the 70-year-old man had to be pulled from the water, police said.

Both men were wearing flotation devices at the time of the accident.

 Black river a small boat went down do to anchoring off the stern , there was a water release , they were rescued by 1 of the guides

well my record is 7 hooks in one fish 3 had sponge  one crazy egg and a chrome 0/1 ...........he had a nice lamprey scar too.......  I think it tenderizes them cause some guy from jersey asked if he could have him just before I threw him in .......

The dopes anchored off the stern of the boat instead of the bow.  It was a square transom.  Idiots!!!

little  heads up the field that was allowing parking across the  road  from the post office in Oswego has been  posted ..... you'll have to  find   parking on the side streets and walk  to the river ....I  don't know why the change in heart and  why they posted it .I personally seen no damage

not much to report  fishing wasn't that impressive seen a lot come down from the d**n in Oswego the skein train didn't have a lot of action although a few steelies where caught ,I heard down below the Utica street bridge they are getting fish at night on plugs ....worth a try
