Nice fish Pete!

Picked this surprise up trolling for salmon in the Q couple of weeks ago.

Small world fishsluggo. I see Ayer, Mass on your shirt. I went to school in Ayer from the sixth grade to the 9th grade in the late 60's to the early 70's.  I cut my teeth on fishing in the area. I've also done some fishing on Quabbin but that was much later when I came back to visit. I left Mass as a freshman in high school when my dad was deployed to Cambodia on his second deployment (10th Special Forces).

Most of my fishing was done on Mirror Lake (real name is Big Hell Pond -- the military named it Mirror) and Little Hell Pond, as all I had to do was follow a trail through the woods from out government housing in Salerno Circle. The lake was heavily stocked with brook trout then. I also caught bass and bluegills there.
