Way to go Raquettedacker and company, that looked like a neat trip with different fish species
in a nice setting. 8)

I didn't know that lake trout would bite at night.
I will have to remember that if I try for them some time. ;)

Do you think that lake trout see well in the dark, like a walleye, or do you think they key in on baits in the
dark by scent or vibration? ???

Not sure because we catch them on dead smelt from shore all the time at night or if we feel like we take the boat just off shore and catch them casting  stick baits..  Both seem to work very well..

The fish with a crankbait stuck in its noggin, was that a rock bass? and if it was do you guys eat those and are they any good? We had them on our lake when I was little but my Dad would never let us eat them, not sure why, probably he just didn't want to clean them :)

Yes it is and I guess they would be just as good to eat as any other pan fish..
