I had the pleasure of fishing with Chimo yesterday. We had planned to target some pickerel and bass, but wound up chasing muskies. We worked very hard for them, but had several follows and managed to boat two nice fish.
This fish nailed a walleye colored glider:
I knew it was a good one, and rivaled my past personal best that was 41.5 inches long, but turned out to be even bigger, a new personal best musky at 43.5” long!
And after a very brief revival, she swam away nicely (as you can see, I was still in shock):

We had a fun day, but both of us are sore from chucking big baits all day. I had to go to work to get some rest!
