Quick update...all is right with the world.

I have now caught perch trolling in 75-100 feet of water.  It is a beautiful thing.

How are the whitefish coming?

As far as yellow perch, I’d be happy to give you some lessons.    Sorry you are not having better luck! Didn’t think you needed it. 

The guys that fish them commercially in NY (50 fish limit now on Onieda) fish small minnows or tiny crayfish along weed beds adjacent a drop off.

Most I ever caught was 250# with the occasional walleye mixed in. 10 - 14” fish all. Before they put the limit in.
