Quick update...all is right with the world.

I have now caught perch trolling in 75-100 feet of water.  It is a beautiful thing.

As far as yellow perch, I’d be happy to give you some lessons.  ;D  Sorry you are not having better luck! Didn’t think you needed it.  ::) :thumbup_smilie: :flag:

The guys that fish them commercially in NY (50 fish limit now on Onieda) fish small minnows or tiny crayfish along weed beds adjacent a drop off.

Most I ever caught was 250# with the occasional walleye mixed in. 10 - 14” fish all. Before they put the limit in.
