Lake Lonely?

Might be staying here in August for the weekend. Hows the fishing, not a pike fisherman so please nothing about pike(LOL). More of a bass fisherman. Alot of Bass in that lake? Size good? Thanks for any info.

Not bad.  Suprisingly underfished...with a small boat rental/bait store on the feeder creek.  His big brother Saratoga Lake gets most of the action.  Try the North end by the golf course.

lonely holds largemouths, pike, pickerel, panfish including crappie, carp and the occasional walleye will end up in there if they take a wrong turn heading back to saratoga from the creek, however the walleye i have seen get caught in lonely look sickly thin and renting a boat for the day from lake lonely bait shop is pretty cheap, like 35 bucks a day or something with trolling motor

Not on Lonely ... Lee's would be the closest .... just a few minutes away. Right next to a Stewarts and Saratoga Bait & Tackle. If your serious PM me your email addy and I'll send ya a lake contour map of it. ( try to find one online  )

I've heard there's a trail that starts right next to the entrance of Saratoga National golf course that runs along the shore of Lake Lonely that you can fish from, any truth to this?
