1973 Starcraft Mariner
« on: May 25, 2014, 03:02 PM »
Beautiful day. Staying home and avoiding crowds.
Installed a new sump pump in the old Starcraft this afternoon.
Old one still worked but had been in boat for over 20 years. Had a new one so put it in.

Been a great boat. Bought it new with a 20 HP Johnson and trailer. Paid $1350.00- new. That boat place in Valpo.- 1973.
Bought a new trailer and 35hp Mercury wit trim/tilt in 1987.
Put seats and deck in myself. Replaced seats in picture with new ones last year.
Have put 3 floors in, replaced transom 5 years ago and have had 3 electric trolls and installed electric anchor.
Doesn't leak and will run 30 mph with just me in boat.

Has seen many fish come over the gunnels. Think I got my monie's worth out of her.
