God its a perdect day for chili! I have a side of wild alaskan Coho curing and destined for the smoker for tonights Haloween/Birthday party for our friends daughter. Might add Chili to the list....

Homemade pizza. Basil, mozzarella, mushroom and sausage.

None of it fresh from home, but all put together a nice meal after hours of chores in the yard.

Had to find yet another way to get my Bride to eat chicken



Chicken breast stuffed with ricotta, broccoli, mozzarella and Parmesan. Chicken flavored rice and cauliflower. Kind of a “white food meal” . But, she ate her chicken with no complaints.

I win again.

Made lasagna the other night with our yellow tomato marinara. Ate half and froze half.

Woke up my normal time which is an hour earlier than the stupid daylight savings time. So.....put on a pot of Minestrone for later.



Gotta get some fresh Italian bread for either garlic toast or croutons. Whichever my Bride would like. Cold and very windy with snow showers out there. Good day for some hearty soup and the Little Wood Shop.

Working remotely today, but with the winds and near freezing temps decided it was a great day for chicken chili. It’s been on since 07:30. Will shred the chicken after 8 hours on low in the slow cooker.

Nice stuff I'm starving my brother got me 3 squirrels I'm making stew just put in oven in one of my cast iron" Dutch oven" smells wonderful already be done at 6 hopefully be able to post a pic , squirrel is my favorite meat next to rabbit

Can’t beat it, warm, hearty and easy to make.

Of course you have to add some fresh shredded cheddar on top!
