i was just wondering what is your favorite spoon for trolling for salmon. i like my NK mag black with a purple strip. and it seems that the fish do also.

Lots of favorites, but if I could only have one, NK 28 silver/glo green would be it! For brown trout #3 charger white char/v.

My favorite spoon for kings is an NK mag in frog or froggie glow.  I have a feeling my new favorite will be the new Holographic frog (pictured below).  Some of these are new for 2006 spoons from NK.  The center 2 rows are doctored up by me.  The second picture is my newest creation (I call it the Grasshopper)

Mulottos, glow froggy's, and thunder spoons work the best for me.  Then there are the watermelon, penguins, and natural born killers.  Monkey puke has its days along with the Habadero, which only seems to not work on my boat.

I am partial to a Pheobe in gold or bronze. Also troll alot of Mooselook Wobblers and Weeping Willows.

Copper Moose looks work best for me this time of year

I'm with you pirkaus-a db smelt does some damage in the spring as well.
